Support Worker – Gold Coast (QLD)
Casual | Immediate Start

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Goldcoast . You will play a vital role in improving the daily lives of NDIS participants through personalised, respectful, and empowering care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Domestic support (meal prep, cooking, cleaning, laundry)
  • Transport to appointments and community activities
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Supporting health, dietary, and emotional wellbeing
  • Encouraging social inclusion and community participation
  • Assisting participants in trying new activities and building confidence

What We're Looking For:

  • A Caring and Flexible Attitude: You’ll bring empathy, patience, and an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience & Skills: A solid understanding of physical, psychosocial, neurological, and cognitive disabilities is ideal. Experience in personal care or disability support is a bonus.
  • Reliability and Dedication: We value reliability and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in every aspect of the role.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience or relevant qualification (Cert III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, Health or Community Services)
  • Current Australian Driver’s License + own car with full comprehensive insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Modules
  • Police Check (within 12 months)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (minimum 3 doses)
  • Current Flu Vaccine (within 12 months)
  • First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
  • CPR Training (within 12 months)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $35 - $44 per hour (based on experience)
